Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Major Maintenance Vehicles (MMV) mechanical engineer to coordinate with suppliers, review designs, and integrate with NG teams to ensure adherence to requirements. You will actively participate in design reviews, review/approve subcontract deliverables, and gauge supplier readiness to enter contractual milestones.

This role supports transition to test and verification through a successful qualification event.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
U.S. citizen.
Active Secret clearance at time of application.
Ability to obtain SAP clearance.
Experience with Support Equipment hardware development for aircraft/aerospace programs.
Experience with requirements analysis, trade studies, SERD generation, design solutions, acquisition, test, and validation.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

Coordinate with suppliers and review designs to ensure adherence to requirements.
Actively participate in design reviews and gauge supplier readiness for milestones.
