Job summary

Ho-Chunk, Inc. is seeking a Medical Records Technician to provide non-personal, administrative, and technical support for the Aerospace and Operational Medicine Division at HQ AFRC.

Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in health information management or related field.
  • Experience processing and managing medical records, preferably in military or government settings.
  • Strong data entry skills and familiarity with medical coding (ICD-10).
  • Proficiency with PDF tools and Microsoft Office for reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Review medical data to ensure completeness for government adjudication.
  • Perform technician-level data entry for medical cases across systems of record.
  • Update and maintain systems such as AIMWTS, ECT, PEPP, MEDXS, and ASIMS.
  • Apply ICD-10 coding and medical terminology to document case files.
  • Monitor cases through the review process and inform RMUs of status changes.
  • Prepare reports on processing metrics and data quality.
  • Produce databases, spreadsheets, and graphics for division meetings.
