Job summary

Ho-Chunk, Inc. through the Aerospace and Operational Medicine Division seeks a Medical Records Technician to support the maintenance, review, and accurate data entry of aeromedical records at Robins Air Force Base, GA.

You will ensure complete, correctly coded documents loaded into DoD systems to support medical readiness and waiver adjudication. The role requires proficiency with PDF tools and MS Office, plus strong data entry and communication skills, within a government-facility setting.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in health information management or related field.
• Demonstrated domain experience processing and managing medical exams and standards, preferably in a military medical environment or equivalent civilian setting.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 coding and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Review case documentation to ensure completeness for government adjudication.
• Enter data at technician level for front and back-end management of medical cases.
• Update and maintain electronic systems (AIMWTS, ECT, PEPP, MEDXS, ASIMS).
• Apply ICD-10 coding and medical terminology to documents.
• Monitor cases through the review process and inform RMUs of status changes.
