Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in health information management, health sciences, medical administration, healthcare administration, or related field.
• Experience processing and managing medical exams/standards in a military medical environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review medical data for completeness for government medical provider adjudication.
• Enter data for front and back-end management of medical cases.
• Update AIMWTS, ECT, PEPP, MEDXS, and ASIMS.
• Apply ICD-10 coding to document case files.
• Monitor cases through the review process and inform RMUs of status changes.
• Prepare reports on processing metrics and data quality.
• Produce databases, spreadsheets, and graphics for division meetings and training.
