Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Senior Technician to support engineering and manufacturing teams in assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of aerospace components and systems. This hands-on role requires meticulous attention to detail and ability to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will read engineering drawings, develop test procedures, and collaborate with engineering to resolve issues, while following 5S, FOD, and clean room guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or high school diploma required.
• 5+ years in aviation/aerospace or related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineering by developing test procedures and plans.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Lead diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical/electrical/fluids assemblies.
• Set up production areas, tooling, and equipment.
• Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and design teams.
• Perform routine maintenance and 5S, FOD, clean room guidelines.
