Job summary

Concepts NREC, a global leader in turbomachinery design and manufacturing, is seeking a Turbomachinery Technician to assemble, test, and troubleshoot high-precision components for aerospace, energy, and industrial applications. This on-site, full-time hourly position requires hands-on experience in mechanical assembly and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

The ideal candidate reads engineering drawings, uses precision measuring tools, and collaborates with engineering and production teams

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical school certification or associate degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical or electromechanical assembly, preferably in aerospace, energy, or industrial manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Assemble complex mechanical and electromechanical systems according to engineering specifications, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Perform precision fitting, alignment, and adjustments to ensure system functionality.
• Conduct functional tests to validate system performance and troubleshoot during assembly.
• Inspect parts and completed assemblies for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Document assembly parameters and test results per defined processes.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to optimize assembly processes and ensure timely delivery.
