Job summary

BTX Precision is seeking a mid-level mechanical assembler to perform complex assemblies using automated and semi-automated equipment. You will conduct precision testing including pressure, flow, and helium leak checks to aerospace standards.

You will read aerospace drawings, validate data logs, monitor test fluid cleanliness, and help optimize production flow with ERP systems. Mentorship of teammates on proper techniques and safety is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience with finite assembly.
• Experience with conducting pressure, flow, and leak testing.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate semi-automated assembly equipment.
• Perform complex multi-tier mechanical assemblies requiring tight tolerances and precise alignments.
• Hydrostatic & Pneumatic Pressure Testing: set up high-pressure test benches to verify integrity.
• Flow Testing: run fluid/airflow tests to meet flow-rate specs.
• Helium Leak Testing: operate helium leak detectors to meet aerospace leak-rate specs.
• Interpret aerospace blueprints and drawings; validate data logs from test equipment.
