Job summary

RTX in East Hartford, CT is seeking a Project Engineer in the MSEN team to own part-level engineering and CIPT execution, coordinating activities and risks across engineering leadership, program management, suppliers, and customers. This on-site role involves supporting budget, schedule, technical performance, and reviews, with travel under 10%.

A STEM bachelor's degree and less than two years of experience are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in STEM with under 2 years of relevant engineering experience.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Experience coordinating across teams on strategic projects.

Responsibilities

Own part-level engineering support for bearings, seals, gears, bearing compartments, and pumps.
Identify, manage, and resolve key technical risks and issues with the IPT.
Coordinate successful technical and program reviews with readiness and alignment.
Support IPT budget, schedule, technical performance, and business metrics.
Participate in customer, IPT, and management meetings and support engine validation builds.
