Genesis Engineering Solutions in Lanham, MD is seeking an early career Mechanical Systems Engineer II to contribute to the full lifecycle of flight hardware development, from prototype through EDU/ETU to production. You will coordinate Assembly, Integration & Test campaigns and lead technicians through procedures to ensure verification and validation.

Qualifications

• Education: B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience working on spaceflight hardware AI&T campaigns or 1+ years with a M.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Software: CAD, QMS, MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI&T campaigns for spaceflight hardware with procedures and verification.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and travelers.
• Coordinate schedules across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality.
• Provide hands-on integration support on production floor.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Translate requirements into hardware controls and verification criteria.
• Collaborate with design to provide manufacturability feedback.
• Prepare readiness artifacts for reviews (TRRs, IRRs, MRBs).
• Drive process improvements and tooling updates.
