Job summary

Onboard Systems Hoist & Winch in Anaheim, CA is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to support design, analysis, and testing of flight hardware and test equipment. You will collaborate with manufacturing, quality, testing, field service, electrical and other engineering teams to resolve technical issues and advance product development.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering and hands-on experience with NX or SolidWorks, engineering drawings, and technical

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of electromechanical systems and strong mechanical engineering fundamentals.
  • Experience with engineering drawing generation and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency in using NX or SolidWorks for design and analysis.
  • Excellent technical writing and PC skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Flight hardware and test equipment improvement, failure investigation, material review board, customer and vendor support.
  • Mechanical analysis, reviewing and writing technical documents, designing mechanical components and updating drawings.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing, field service, quality, test, analysis and electrical disciplines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
