Job summary

Onboard Systems Hoist & Winch in Anaheim, CA is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to support the design, improvement, and investigation of flight hardware and test equipment.

You will perform mechanical analysis, develop and update drawings using NX/SolidWorks, prepare technical documentation, and collaborate with manufacturing, quality, testing, field service, electrical, and other teams.

Qualifications

• Flight hardware and test equipment experience.
• Knowledge of electromechanical systems and fundamental engineering principles (statics, materials, thermodynamics).
• Experience with engineering drawings and documentation (NX/SolidWorks).

Responsibilities

• Flight hardware and test equipment improvement; failure investigation; material review board support.
• Design mechanical components and update drawings; review and write technical documents.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, field service, quality, test, analysis and electrical teams.
