Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Mechanical Integration & Test Engineer for STARLINK. The role focuses on understanding all satellite systems, designing test infrastructure, and enabling vehicle integration across facilities.

You will design tooling, evaluate manufacturability, and work with engineers and technicians to optimize testing processes. The position requires a Bachelor's in engineering and 1+ year experience in design or manufacturing; a Master’s degree and CAD/ MATLAB or

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 1+ year design/manufacturing experience.
• Experience with MATLAB or Python preferred.
• Experience in integrating propulsion, thermal, electrical and/or structural systems.
• Experience with avionics integration and CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage physical infrastructure of test integration and operations.
• Mechanical design of infrastructure and tooling for test integration and operations.
• Evaluate proposed designs for manufacturability and integration.
• Interface with engineers, specialists, and technicians to optimize testing operations.
• New vehicle integration into new and existing infrastructure.
• Enable day‑to‑day execution of vehicle integration and test flow to serve our customers.
• Evaluate non‑conformances to determine root cause and create actionable items and system improvements.
