Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an experienced Lead Integration & Test Engineer for Starshield to lead a team building, testing, and launching advanced satellite hardware. You will shape production, fixture design, and test processes while driving safety, reliability, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include a engineering/physics degree, 2+ years in aerospace design/manufacturing, and 1+ year of leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics required.
• 2+ years of design/manufacturing in aerospace or related industries.
• 1+ years of leadership experience overseeing teams or projects.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers in defining processes and fixtures to produce satellites and subassemblies.
• Support day-to-day hardware production and vehicle integration activities.
• Ensure manufacturing safety, reliability, on-time delivery, and cost effectiveness.
• Drive process improvements to reduce errors and increase automation where feasible.
• Expand manufacturing and testing capabilities and capacity as needed.
• Manage design-supply chain-mission management interfaces and stakeholder relationships.
• Develop training and career growth opportunities for the engineering team.
