Job summary

Onboard Systems Hoist & Winch in Anaheim, CA is seeking a Test Technician to perform functional and performance testing of helicopter hoists and cargo winches, ensuring blueprints and quality standards are met. This union position offers evenings, requires the ability to pass a pre-employment background check and an FAA-regulated drug test, and pays $27.50 per hour onsite.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED; aerospace or automotive experience preferred.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow test instructions.
U.S. Person required (citizen, permanent resident, or approved).

Responsibilities

Perform functional and performance testing on helicopter hoists and cargo winches per blueprints and quality standards.
Use hand tools and equipment to make adjustments during tests.
Acquire necessary skills, knowledge, and certifications for the role.
Inspect parts and completed products to identify quality defects.
Ensure compliance with quality systems, EH&S requirements.
Maintain tools, materials, and work area in a clean, organized condition.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
