Job summary

TAD PGS, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Tulsa, OK to support FAA Repair Station activities and FAA FAR-145 component repairs. The role involves applying engineering principles, project timing, and customer-focused problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate should have a BS degree in mechanical engineering, at least 3 years in a regulated aerospace/defense setting, and strong communication and leadership capabilities to work across teams and with customers. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) degree or higher from a four-year college/university.
• Minimum 3 years in a regulated industry (e.g., aerospace/defense) with FAA certification knowledge preferred.
• Demonstrated teamwork with strong communication, presentation, leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Hands-on with ability to see the big picture.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask and meet deadlines.
• Access to technologies/hardware subject to U.S. export control requirements (US Persons or authorization).

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and resolves technical feasibility and production issues.
• Plans and implements engineering programs, defining philosophies, activities, milestones, and customer requirements.
• Demonstrates strong technical, project and customer-relations skills.
• Communicates effectively, applies analytical skills (including FEA) for design and testing.
• Develops and maintains schedule and budget for projects.
• Reviews design for compliance with engineering principles and contract requirements.
• Coordinates activities related to technical developments, scheduling, and testing problems.
• Prepares interim and completion project reports.
• Ensures safe use of equipment and materials and reports unsafe conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
