Job summary

Qualifications

• BSME or higher from an accredited university is required.
• Minimum 3 years engineering experience in a regulated aerospace/defense/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience supporting FAA certification activities or repairs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and implement FAA‑compliant repair solutions for aerospace components.
• Analyze failures to determine feasible repair strategies and perform engineering assessments using analytical tools like FEA.
• Support DER repair development activities and review designs for compliance with FAA regs and customer requirements.
• Lead projects from planning through execution, coordinating cross‑functional teams (engineering, operations, quality, customers).
• Prepare technical reports, updates, and engineering documentation; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
