Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace/mechanical/electrical engineering from a four-year college or university.
• 2-3 years of working experience in the aerospace industry.
• Aviation component repair or manufacturing experience a plus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
• CAD models/drawings using SolidWorks and/or Inventor.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical design and drafting skills, including basic machining knowledge as applicable. Be key focus and provide expertise on new product introduction.
• Develop electromechanical skills to include understanding and use of switches and sensors, application and measurement of mechanical load and position.
• Complete appropriate test documentation and certifying to test results.
• Experience with hydraulic or pneumatic equipment and techniques.
• Other duties may also be assigned.
