Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering is required (master’s may substitute for up to two years of experience).
• 0–3 years of engineering design experience preferred (entry-level acceptable with strong project or internship experience).
• Experience with 3D CAD software is required (SolidWorks preferred).
• Experience in aerospace design, manufacturing, or FAA certification processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings for aircraft components and systems.
• Perform engineering calculations, design analyses, and tolerance stack-ups to validate designs.
• Coordinate design activities for major projects, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Support certification efforts, including documentation, testing, and FAA compliance.
• Collaborate with vendors on design, manufacturability, and quality requirements.
• Provide engineering support to production and troubleshoot design issues.
