Job summary

Northwest Aerospace Technologies, a Safran Company, seeks a Level II Mechanical Design Engineer to support aircraft interior reconfiguration projects in the U.S. The role focuses on design, data acquisition, and documentation while ensuring compliance with quality systems and certification requirements.

You will collaborate with senior engineers, gain cross-discipline experience, and contribute to interior and structural design work.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Four-year engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Comfortable mentoring less experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead design activities and generate engineering products (parts list, drawings, documents).
• Ensure designs conform to quality systems, customer SOW, and certification requirements.
• Collaborate with Senior/Project Engineers for growth and experience.
• Contribute to multiple aerospace disciplines including interiors and structures.
