Job summary

Altitude Aerospace is seeking a Design Engineer I/II for interiors and structures on VIP aircraft programs. This on-site Bothell, WA role focuses on creating 3D models and 2D drawings for interior and structural components under the guidance of senior engineers.

You will use Autodesk Inventor (and some AutoCAD) and manage files in Vault and PLM 360. A bachelor’s in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 1–5 years of design experience is required, plus U.S. work eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent hands-on modeling and drafting experience.
• 1–5 years of design, modeling, or drafting experience.
• Solid 3D modeling and drawing skills in CAD tools; Inventor preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models and 2D drawings for interior and structural components in Autodesk Inventor, with some AutoCAD.
• Translate senior engineers' directions into clean, accurate drawings.
• Manage files in Autodesk Vault and track tasks in PLM 360 (Fusion Manage).
• Incorporate feedback from senior engineers and coordinate with other disciplines as designs integrate.
• Ask questions freely to ensure clarity and accuracy.
