Zusammenfassung

Safran Seats USA is seeking mechanically inclined technicians to support seat installations on commercial aircraft and resolve issues during assembly and delivery. You will work on-site at Air Framer facilities, traveling as needed and engaging with major aviation customers for long-term aviation technical support.

The role involves rework, troubleshooting, and coordination with QA/Engineering under supervision, with opportunities to gain aerospace experience and build a long-term career.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a related technical field preferred.
• 0–1 year of field service experience in troubleshooting and repairs preferred.
• Strong mechanical ability with hand and power tools.
• Basic knowledge of CMMs, engineering drawings, and other technical documents.
• Proficient with MS Office and mobile devices for communication.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a passport.
• Willing to travel to other Air Framer FALs domestically and internationally.

Aufgaben

• Rework and stamp pickups as identified by Air Framer or customer during aircraft build.
• Replace/troubleshoot faulty electronics and damaged parts; adjust panels/trim; assist seat installation team.
• Maintain high quality workmanship at all times.
• Respond promptly to communications with Air Framer personnel and customers.
• Maintain good rapport with Air Framer personnel and customers.
• Follow Safran and Air Framer safety guidelines and processes.
• Submit accurate part order requests and understand POA/SOA processes.
• Drive company van and transport other technicians safely between facilities.
• Attend Safran daily standups and meetings.
• Comply with Safran training related to Flight line, Safety and other courses.
• Coordinate with QA, Engineers, Leads, and technicians daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Willingness to travel to other Air Framer sites.
