Equiliem is hiring a Manufacturing Technician II - Mechanical Assembly in Oxnard, CA for first shift. The role performs precision mechanical assembly, testing, inspection, and rework of aerospace components using hand tools, precision measuring equipment, and technical drawings to support quality and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has hands-on mechanical assembly experience, strong attention to detail, teamwork and communication skills, and a commitment to 5S and workplace safety.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings and work instructions.
• Understanding of 5S principles in a mechanical assembly environment.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to work onsite in Oxnard, California.
• Willingness to work the first shift 9/80A schedule and flexibility for possible second-shift 9/80B.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly and manufacturing operations using hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Assist engineers with equipment setup, calibration, testing, and manufacturing experiments.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, work instructions, and assembly documentation.
• Inspect components and assemblies for quality and conformance to specifications.
• Perform product rework and quality testing as required.
• Collect and evaluate manufacturing data to support process adjustments and continuous improvement.
• Follow established manufacturing procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements.
• Maintain an organized work area and apply 5S principles to support efficiency and workplace organization.
• Collaborate with engineers and manufacturing team members to meet production schedules and quality objectives.
• Support additional manufacturing and assembly activities as assigned.
