Job summary

Aerotek in Santa Ana, CA is seeking skilled aerospace/military mechanical assemblers for a contract-to-hire role on first shift (6:00 am–2:30 pm). The position involves a high-paced production with a target of 5,000 units per month; second shift is also available.

You will perform mechanical assemblies, read wiring diagrams, use hand tools and test equipment to validate RF systems, and troubleshoot issues. Onsite benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
• Proficient computer skills and basic software use.
• Working knowledge of electrical components.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams & assembly instructions.
• Capable of adapting in a high-paced environment.
• Effective communication with teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assemblies in aerospace/military contexts.
• Use hand and power tools and read wiring diagrams.
• Read and follow assembly instructions accurately.
• Communicate with engineering and production teams in writing and speech.
• Validate and test electronic components with meters/scopes.
• Assemble wire harnesses, test racks, and related parts, including soldering.
• Troubleshoot box assemblies and write issue tickets.
• Perform functional tests and test RF systems.
