Collins Aerospace, a leading aerospace and defense company, is seeking an onsite assembler at our Wilson, NC site. The role involves learning to assemble and load parts, reading procedures, and maintaining safety and quality standards to meet customer deadlines.

Applicants should have a HS diploma or equivalent; manufacturing experience is preferred. This is a full-time onsite position with competitive benefits and opportunities for training and certification as required.

Qualificações

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. GED in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline.

Responsabilidades

• Learn to set up, assemble, and load parts.
• Demonstrate proper use of simple hand and machine tools with basic troubleshooting around machine set up and function.
• Learn to accurately read and follow procedures, routing, and other work instructions.
• Responsible for quality product standards with no defects. Able to identify part defects and elevate as needed.
• Responsible for building parts that meet customer deadlines and expectations while maintaining established safety and quality standards.
• Participate in cost reduction plans and continuous improvement plans/events, as required.
• Acquire applicable skill/knowledge/certifications as required. Responsible for tracking and staying compliant with site training and recertification requirements.
• Maintain materials, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Rotate to different workstations throughout shift as business needs change.
