Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an Electrical Assembler I to support our Foley, AL location onsite. You will assemble electrical harnesses and subassemblies per engineering specifications, using hand and power tools, and perform continuity checks and safety procedures.

The role operates on the 1st shift (6:30am–3pm), Monday–Friday, with opportunities to participate in continuous improvement activities. Ideal candidates will have a HS diploma or GED (2 years manufacturing experience preferred) and

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required or equivalent
• Typically 2 years of manufacturing/assembly experience preferred
• Experience reading drawings, blueprints, schematics, and process docs
• Ability to follow detailed instructions (written and verbal)
• Experience with hand tools, electrical tools, pneumatic tools, wire cutters, pliers, heat guns, and precision measuring equipment
• Self-directed with ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical harnesses, parts and products per engineering specs
• Use hand and power tools and assembly equipment
• Adhere to quality standards and safety procedures
• Perform continuity checks on electrical harnesses
• Participate in compliance inspections and CI activities
• Maintain a clean, safe work area; lift up to 20 pounds
• Perform other duties as assigned
