Job summary

RTX in Middletown, CT is seeking candidates for the Engineering Development Program (EDP). You will rotate across engineering disciplines, tackling sensor development, hardware/software design, and testing to build real-world turbine engine solutions.

Ideal candidates are soon-to-be graduates with Electrical Engineering, hands-on lab skills, and experience in MATLAB/Python/C++ and CAD tools. This onsite program offers breadth, depth, and a clear path to technical leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering by start date.
Experience with electronic circuit and harness design, assembly, testing.
Familiar with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and digital multimeters.
Experience using MATLAB, Python, C/C++ and LabVIEW.
Experience using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Unigraphics/NX.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include working on tasks related to commercial engines, military engines or both depending on business need.
Develop measurement techniques and diagnostic capabilities used to verify the structural integrity of gas turbine engines.
Sensor development, hardware/software design and assembly, bench testing, electrical system design, algorithm development, instrumentation installations, test monitoring, data processing and report generation.
