Job summary

Service Steel Aerospace Corp. is seeking a Receiver to join our warehouse team. The role involves receiving mill shipments, unloading trucks, and logging materials into our inventory system. You will inspect materials, verify test reports, and maintain accurate records to support production schedules.

The position requires basic data entry, forklift experience, and a high school diploma. You will collaborate with Quality and Operations to resolve issues and ensure materials meet specifications.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Experience unloading trucks/containers.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Ability to read material test reports.
• Experience using calipers and tape measures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• HS diploma or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming metal shipments from mills and vendors.
• Unload trucks and containers using a forklift.
• Inspect incoming materials for damage, dimensions, and quality.
• Verify mill test reports meet specifications.
• Enter shipment information into inventory system.
• Measure materials using calipers and tape measures.
• Complete receiving paperwork including first article inspections.
• Manage warehouse inventory and organize materials.
• Update work orders with production status.
• Collaborate with Quality and Operations to resolve issues.
• Prioritize work to meet production schedules.
