Service Steel Aerospace in Canton, OH is seeking a Receiver to join our warehouse team. You will receive incoming shipments, unload trucks with a forklift, and enter shipment data into our inventory system to ensure accurate stock records.

Responsibilities include inspecting materials for damage and conformance to specs, measuring with calipers and tape, processing receiving paperwork, updating production status, and coordinating with Quality and Operations to resolve issues while helping meet

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent industry work experience.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Experience reading material test reports.
• Experience unloading flatbed trucks.
• Measuring with calipers and tape measures.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming metal shipments from mills and outside processing vendors.
• Unload trucks and shipping containers using a forklift.
• Inspect incoming materials for damage, correct dimensions, and quality.
• Verify mill test reports meet specifications.
• Enter shipment information into the inventory management system.
• Measure materials accurately using calipers and tape measures.
• Complete receiving paperwork, including first article inspections.
• Manage warehouse inventory and keep materials organized.
• Update work orders with the correct production status.
• Work with Quality and Operations teams to report and resolve any material issues.
• Prioritize work to meet production schedules.
