Service Steel Aerospace is seeking a Material Handler to support warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and preparing materials for production and orders. The role requires operating forklifts and cranes, reading work orders, and maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

The position supports inventory accuracy, uses band saws, and involves quality checks on materials. Strong teamwork and reliability are essential to meet production deadlines.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse or material handling experience is preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, or order pickers safely.
• Willingness to learn band saw operation and safety procedures.
• Basic computer skills for inventory and work order data entry.
• Ability to read work orders and follow written instructions.
• Excellent attention to detail and safety compliance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• HS diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, and store incoming materials.
• Pick, assemble, tag, and prepare customer/production orders.
• Load/unload trucks, trailers, containers, and customers’ vehicles.
• Move materials with forklifts, side loaders, or cranes.
• Operate forklifts, side loaders, order pickers, or cranes safely.
• Transfer stock to band saws and set cutting parameters.
• Install and remove band saw blades and monitor quality.
• Position materials with proper fixtures and measure compliance.
• Enter production and inventory data into the system.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized workspace.
