Job summary

Service Steel Aerospace in Canton, OH is seeking a Receiver to join our warehouse team, Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm. You will receive mill deliveries, unload trucks, and enter material data into our inventory control system.

Responsibilities include inspecting materials, verifying mill test reports, measuring with calipers and tape, maintaining orderly inventory, updating work orders, and coordinating with Quality and Operations to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift experience (certification preferred).
• Experience reading and understanding material test reports.
• Proficiency with calipers and tape measures.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming metal shipments and unload trucks.
• Verify mill test reports for compliance.
• Enter shipment data into the inventory system.
• Inspect materials for damage and correct dimensions.
• Measure materials with calipers and tape measures.
• Maintain organized warehouse inventory and update work orders.
• Collaborate with Quality and Operations to resolve material issues.
• Prioritize tasks to meet production schedules.
