You will ensure material readiness, manage supply risk, and support cost and schedule performance while interfacing with program management, engineering, manufacturing, quality, contracts, and finance. The role requires extensive experience in materials management within regulated manufacturing, with strong knowledge of procurement, ERP/MRP, supplier

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field with domain knowledge in regulated manufacturing.
• 7+ years in materials management, supply chain, or program support in aerospace/defense or similar environment.
• Experience supporting complex programs with delivery, quality, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end material management from contract award through production, delivery, and sustainment.
• Develop and execute material strategies aligned to program schedules and financial objectives.
• Serve as material focal point for reviews, customer discussions, and executive updates.
• Translate demand, schedule changes, and risk into executable supply chain plans.
• Drive material readiness for development, production, repair, and field support.
• Monitor shortages, allocations, long lead items, inventory health, and supplier performance.
• Identify material risks and drive mitigation, including obsolescence and sole-source issues.
• Coordinate with procurement, planning, manufacturing, warehouse, quality, and engineering to resolve constraints.
• Support subcontract management, make-buy decisions, and material strategies in compliance with requirements.
• Ensure adherence to FAR/DFARS, export controls, traceability, and quality documentation.
