Job summary

GE Aerospace Batesville Composites Operations in Batesville, MS, is seeking a Materials Planner to coordinate material flow and production scheduling for the Composites Value Stream. You will partner with operations, sourcing, quality, logistics, and manufacturing to resolve shortages and maintain data accuracy across ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years manufacturing/materials/supply chain experience)
• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, materials planning, or production control is preferred
• Familiarity with Lean principles and continuous improvement in a regulated aerospace environment

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials from suppliers and within internal operations to support the Composites Value Stream production plan.
• Develop and maintain production schedules, material plans, and purchasing requirements to ensure on-time availability of materials and uninterrupted manufacturing flow.
• Partner with operations, sourcing, quality, logistics, and manufacturing teams to resolve shortages, schedule changes, and execution issues impacting delivery or performance.
• Manage master planning activities, material systems, and ERP transactions to maintain accurate demand, supply, inventory, and production data.
• Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, schedule attainment, inventory health, material availability, and past due orders.
• Drive inventory optimization while balancing production continuity, lead times, and customer requirements.
• Identify and support process improvements across planning, material flow, and value stream execution to improve responsiveness and reduce waste.
