• High school diploma or equivalent reading, writing and mathematical skills; college preferred.
• 2+ years of experience within, or related to the assignment.
• Familiarity with aircraft installation, maintenance and/or modification processes.
• Familiarity with aircraft manuals and related aviation maintenance publications.
• Effective computer skills; Microsoft Office software and other discipline specific software.
• Effective organization skills including the ability to prioritize and plan work
• Ability to build positive relationships and maintain cross-functional partnerships.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.
• Ability and willingness to work extended hours, when needed.

Responsabilidades

• Support Logistics make / buy process, coordinate for required inputs and issue timely and accurate work orders / routers in accordance with requirements.
• Ensure the accuracy, integrity and manage the Shortage Reporting (SFC440) process to ensure communication and performance gaps are closed with clear exception management.
• Coordinate with planner to identify long lead parts/materials and process to purchasing.
• Prioritize all planning part / material requirements to purchasing based upon aircraft and / or maintenance / modification schedule.
• Liaison between production, programs and purchasing personnel regarding parts / material priorities.
• Assure all parts / material are being tracked and updated within computer system.
• Expedite parts / materials through company for both incoming and outgoing requirements.
• Contact suppliers for part/material delivery status and tracking information.
• Place purchase orders with suppliers as directed by Lead or Manager maintaining compliance with purchasing guidelines.
• Coordinate / assist with the identification of alternate parts / materials.
• Process non-routine requirements and assure material requisitions have appropriate backup documentation.
• Assist Buyer / SCPM with the identification of customer furnished materials, purchased, manufactured, modified, exchanged, etc.
• Maintain appropriate computer databases as required within various shared files.
• Maintain professional communication with customer representatives both internally and externally.
• Complete initial / recurrent training requirements in a timely manner.
• Other duties may be assigned.
