Aston Carter in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Material Planner to manage demand, supply, and fulfillment in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. You will maintain Bills of Materials, parts data, and master data in ERP, support procurement and production, and provide clear visibility into material availability to meet schedules.

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems and material planning processes.
• Process improvement mindset in manufacturing/aerospace.
• Hands-on material planning experience in aerospace/manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office for data analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of master data management, BOM management, and planning release.

Responsibilities

• Manage demand, supply, and fulfillment planning within MRP to ensure materials are available for production and delivery.
• Maintain BOMs, parts data, and master data in ERP for accuracy and alignment with configurations.
• Release purchase planning messages to procurement to support on-time material acquisition.
• Issue work orders to production on schedule to support efficient manufacturing workflows.
• Update demand plans to reflect engineering change orders and communicate impacts to procurement.
• Create and maintain visibility of material positions using line of balance and related reports.
• Perform material planning and data management across master data, order policy, and fulfillment processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve company-wide goals.
