Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks an Advanced Materials and Process Engineer to develop, test, and characterize materials for high-performance components. You will focus on processing-microstructure-property relationships for Ni-based, Fe-based, or Ti-based alloys and report to the Mechanical Design Engineering Manager at the Phoenix, AZ site on a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in material characterization; aerospace preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead materials development and qualification projects using microstructure analysis, mechanical testing, and data modeling.
• Perform material characterization to understand properties and performance in mechanical designs.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to integrate material data into product development.
