Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies is seeking a Masking Technician to prepare aerospace components for processing, applying masking materials to protect areas during painting and coating. The role requires reading blueprints, maintaining quality standards, and documenting materials used.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 2pm–10:30pm, with a focus on precision and safety. Experience in masking or related fields is preferred, along with the ability to stand for long periods and lift objects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or better.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Apply masking materials (tapes, plugs, liquid masks) to aerospace components according to specs.
• Inspect components before and after masking for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain records of masking processes and materials used.
