Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies in Lynwood, CA is seeking a Masker for aerospace processing to join our onsite team. You will mask surfaces, follow work orders and drawings, inspect parts, and ensure paperwork accuracy while maintaining safety and ITAR compliance.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least four years of masker experience in aerospace; strong blueprint reading, ability to train others, and commitment to quality and teamwork are desired.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 4+ years masking experience in an aerospace processing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and masking drawings.
• Must wear PPE and comply with ITAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Mask or shield surfaces of parts that do not require processing.
• Process parts according to work orders, specifications, and drawings.
• Follow verbal and written instructions provided by the supervisor.
• Inspect incoming parts for damage, scratches, or defects.
• Accurately complete work orders and required paperwork.
• Safely handle hazardous materials in compliance with regulations.
• Act as the lead for the department and coach/train duties.
• Understand and read masking drawings; use Proflow.
