Job summary

Metal Finishing Technologies, LLC is seeking a dedicated Masker to join the FAA department in Bristol, CT. The role focuses on simple masking of part features to protect areas from processing, primarily during metal plating, with strict FAA drug and alcohol testing requirements.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, read blueprints, and work in a team. Aerospace manufacturing experience is preferred; training will be provided to ensure compliance with safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and industry specifications to assess masking requirements.
• Must be detail oriented and quick learner.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis.

Responsibilities

• Mask required part features using masking materials to protect areas during processing.
• Prepare raw material for masking including hand wiping and cleaning.
• Clean surfaces of work pieces in preparation for coating using fluids, brushes, and tools.
• Assist other maskers, inspectors and machine operators as needed in a team environment.
• Maintain a clean working area and follow FAA safety and quality protocols.
