Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years related experience.
• Ability to read, write and work to instructions in English.
• Able to lift/push/pull up to 40 pounds.
• Able to stand for extended periods and work flexible shifts.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings/schematics and basic hand tool safety.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Fabricate or assemble mechanical components for larger assemblies.
• Set up and test prototype units and subassemblies under operational conditions.
• Analyze data and recommend modifications to meet specifications.
• Assist engineers with development, tests, and fabrication of assemblies.
• Use programs to collect and evaluate operating data and make on-line adjustments to products.
• Maintain shop area and ensure cleanliness and organization.
