Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products Corp. (CPP) in Albany, OR is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for the Wax Department to lead daily operations, uphold a zero-injury safety culture, monitor quality and throughputs, and coach a team to deliver consistent, right-first-time parts.

You will manage scheduling, drive continuous improvement projects with cross-functional teams, liaise with engineering and maintenance, and ensure parts meet documented procedures, specifications and delivery targets.

Qualifications

• Lean or continuous improvement knowledge required.
• Pull production methodologies.
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite.
• Experience in leading teams and giving feedback.
• Coaching team members for problem-solving.
• Lead end-to-end scoped projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Lead teams in a fast-paced manufacturing.
• Minimum 1 year as lead or supervisor in a production environment.
• Four-year degree in Business, Science, or Engineering preferred.
• Must be 18+, background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead a zero-injury culture through continuous improvement and engagement.

• Support life-threat programs and identify improvement opportunities.
• Demonstrate safety procedure improvements benefiting other areas.
• Coordinate hiring and termination within the area.

• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance.
• Lead cross-functional projects to achieve improvements.
• Ensure parts processed per procedures and specs.
• Drive on-time delivery and throughput.
• Develop improved metrics for team objectives.
• Optimize equipment and labor through scheduling.
