Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is a world-class titanium aerospace parts manufacturer with facilities in Albany, OR. This Production Supervisor role leads a shift focused on safety, quality, throughput, and cost, coaching teams and solving day-to-day production challenges.

Qualifications

• Lean and/or continuous improvement knowledge required.
• Pull production methodologies.
• Proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft Suite.
• Managing team and individual performance, and providing effective feedback.
• Coaching team members to encourage individual problem-solving.
• Work well-scoped projects from beginning to end.
• Convey concise written and verbal communication.
• Lead teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a lead or supervisor in a production environment.
• Four year degree in Business, Science, or Engineering preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background check.
• Must be willing to participate in pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead a zero-injury culture through continuous improvement and employee engagement.
• Maintain daily contacts and teamwork to foster trust and problem-solving.
• Support life-threatening programs and identify improvement opportunities.
• Demonstrate continual safety improvements benefiting other areas.
• Initiate and coordinate hiring/termination within the area.
• Provide leadership, performance feedback, wage adjustments, and training.
• Supervise daily activities and measure performance versus plan.
• Resolve problems by selecting solutions using experience and precedents.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance groups.
• Lead cross-functional projects to accomplish improvements.
• Ensure parts are processed per procedures and specs.
• Maintain productivity and right-first-time performance metrics.
• Ensure on-time delivery and throughput per dispatch lists.
• Develop improved metrics for team objectives.
• Plan resources and schedules to meet plan throughput.
