Job summary

Moeller Aerospace is hiring a Manufacturing Supervisor in Harbor Springs, MI (3rd shift) to lead turbine aircraft engine and power generation part production. You will drive safety, quality, and delivery in a value stream while mentoring teams and coordinating with planning and engineering.

The role emphasizes leadership, continuous improvement, and adherence to ISO/AS standards, with strong emphasis on ERP (Syteline) and CNC/CMM knowledge. A degree and relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience required.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
• ERP software (Syteline) proficiency.
• Ability to perform basic shop math functions.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Regularly lift up to 25 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• CNC machining knowledge with troubleshooting, setups, and maintenance.
• Understanding of CMM programming.

Responsibilities

• Manages labor and machine capacity to meet throughput, costs, quality, and schedules.
• Organizes and assigns work (labor, machines) using skills and machine strategies.
• Fosters teamwork and maintains effective teams.
• Ensures machine capacity availability and addresses issues.
• Provides onboarding, training, and cross-qualification for skill development.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation and KPI tracking.
• Leads continuous improvement (Kaizen, TPM, 5S).
• Supports other departments to improve efficiency and capacity.
