Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Production Supervisor for the Military Aircraft Group on the 2nd shift in Buffalo, NY.

You will lead 30–40 machinists in a machine shop, drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost, and shape team capability through workforce planning, training, and continuous improvement. You will partner with the Manufacturing Manager to develop improvement plans, manage performance, and ensure efficient production to meet customer commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing setting.
• At least 5 years of direct management experience; preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 30-40 employees in a machine shop setting.
• Develop Value Stream Improvement Plans with the Manufacturing Manager.
• Set and measure short- and long-term team goals aligned with site strategy.
• Ensure efficient use of personnel and equipment to meet delivery commitments.
• Hire, coach, and evaluate team members for performance and growth.
• Address employee relations matters promptly and fairly.
• Oversee time reporting and adherence to personnel policies.
