Job summary

Divergent is hiring an Advanced Manufacturing Production Specialist to coordinate materials, tooling, and workflows across the production floor in a high-precision aerospace environment. You will resolve constraints and prioritize work orders while monitoring production status and inventory.

This role links machining, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure on-schedule output and continuous improvement, with emphasis on safety and efficiency on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or aerospace/precision machining experience.
• 1+ year of administrative or production support in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP/MRP and Excel for scheduling, tracking, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production activities to align with schedules and on-time delivery commitments.
• Ensure tooling, materials, and work instructions are available before job release to minimize downtime.
• Assist with managing and tracking work orders through ERP/MRP systems, maintaining accurate status.
• Monitor tooling inventory and usage, support tool crib operations, and initiate replenishment as needed.
• Identify and proactively address production bottlenecks.
• Assist with production planning activities, including sequencing, capacity, and resource allocation.
• Maintain accurate documentation including travelers, inspection records, and production logs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and supporting optimization efforts.
