Job summary

Divergent is building the new industrial age with advanced systems for aerospace, automotive, and defense programs. This Advance Manufacturing Engineer role drives day-to-day operations, process improvements, and scalable manufacturing solutions on the production floor.

You will lead machining, automated assembly, inspection, and related processes, collaborating with design and manufacturing engineers to push quality, speed, and reliability. Strong shop-floor leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in aerospace or defense engineering environments.
• Hands-on with advanced manufacturing methods incl. additive, robotics, coatings & inspection.
• CAD/CAM proficiency with Siemens NX, AutoCAD; GD&T and metrology expertise.

Responsibilities

• Own daily production execution and resolve shop-floor issues to maintain throughput.
• Develop and implement best practices, processes, and calibration procedures.
• Lead development and continuous improvement of machining, assembly, and inspection work centers.
• Collaborate on programming for 3-axis, 3+2, and 5-axis CNC mills.
• Create documentation and standardize setup conventions to reduce cycle times.
• Analyze data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
