Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Experience documenting manufacturing processes and developing SOPs or work instructions.
• Experience in aerospace or aviation manufacturing industries.
• Ability to translate hands-on processes into written documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Observe and evaluate aerospace manufacturing processes for aircraft parts and assemblies.
• Document production workflows and operational procedures.
• Develop, write, and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation.
• Translate hands-on activities into clear, step-by-step instructions.
• Create process flowcharts and visual work instructions as needed.
• Identify gaps and opportunities for standardization and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, QA, and operations to validate procedures.
• Ensure documentation reflects actual practices and engineering requirements.
• Maintain document control, revision history, and traceability.
• Support standardization across production operations and changes.
• Review documentation as processes or equipment change.
