Job summary

MOHR Talent in West Point, MS seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer who turns engineering drawings into practical manufacturing solutions. You will own manufacturing methods, write clear work instructions, and support first builds, NPI, and ramp-up to ensure consistent production.

You will apply Lean and Kaizen to improve quality, throughput, and layouts, working closely with machinists, welders, and assemblers.

Qualifications

7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace or defense.
Practical engineering experience supporting machining, welding, metal fabrication, and complex assemblies.
Experience translating build-to-print drawings into manufacturing processes and work instructions.
Experience with NPI, production ramp-up, BOMs, and manufacturing layouts.
A track record of Lean or Kaizen improvements.

Responsibilities

Define manufacturing methods and build sequences for machined components and fabricated metal assemblies.
Write clear instructions that help production teams build accurately and consistently.
Support first builds, new product introduction, and production ramp-up.
Troubleshoot machining, welding, fabrication, and assembly problems.
Develop and maintain bills of materials and improve facility and assembly-line layouts.
Implement Lean and Kaizen changes that improve quality, efficiency, and production flow.
