Job summary

Safran Seats in Gainesville, Texas is seeking a Manufacturing Planner II to support production planning and scheduling. You will create and revise routings and BOMs, enter part numbers, and update the ERP with accurate data to meet engineering specs and manufacturing requirements.

The role requires an Associate degree (or 3+ years of planning experience) and offers a path for growth. APICS certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related Technical Field is required or 3 years of manufacturing planning experience in lieu of degree.
• Additionally, 3 years of production planning or manufacturing at a minimum.
• APICS certification is a plus
• Must have technical knowledge of production processes, equipment capability and material characteristics.

Responsibilities

• Creates and revises routing and Tool Work Orders.
• Enters part numbers, item master, item balance, structure, and routing.
• Redlines shop manufacturing orders utilizing best shop practices.
• Determines lead-time for individual steps and overall process.
• Implements, structures and plans into MRP system on new and existing programs.
• Identifies and resolves problems in assigned areas.
• Pulls drawing requests from queue and processes them.
