Job summary

RTX is seeking an entry-level CNC operator at its North Berwick site. The role focuses on learning to set up and operate NC milling and grinding machines, with a path to operator certification after a comprehensive training program.

Expect to complete 3 weeks of classroom training followed by 4–8 weeks on-the-job, gaining skills in machining, inspection, and process support while working a Friday–Sunday weekend schedule.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• 1+ years of manufacturing or related experience preferred.
• Ability to compute with decimals and fractions.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up and operate NC milling/grinding machines.
• Verify conformance of finished work using precision instruments.
• Participate in TPM and assist in part process development.
