Hera Technologies is seeking a dedicated, hands-on OPEX Specialist to support factory flow optimization and drive continuous improvement across our manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Operational Excellence Lead, this role serves as an engineering engine to advance our site’s CI strategy, directly supporting our mission to deliver high-quality aerospace solutions on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 1–4 years of practical experience in CI/manufacturing/operational excellence roles.
• Solid understanding of Toyota Production System (TPS) principles, Kaizen methodologies, and Lean tools.
• Hands-on experience performing Time & Motion Studies, authoring standard work, and using process mapping.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and ERP systems.
• Willingness to spend significant time on the production floor on process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Time & Motion Studies to establish baselines and identify bottlenecks.
• Author, optimize, and maintain detailed Standard Work, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Serve as a shop-floor focal for continuous improvement initiatives and site maturity.
• Lead Kaizen events, CI workshops, and root-cause problem solving (DMAIC/8D/5-Why).
• Apply TPS and Lean principles daily to eliminate waste and improve layouts.
• Support Visual Factory rollout and 5S across production centers.
• Collect, validate, and analyze operational data to support project selection and tracking.
• Coach frontline employees and collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain.
